International Wolf Center

Ely, Minnesota

The International Wolf Center in Ely, MN, focuses on advancing the survival of wolf populations through educational programs. While direct animal care is not possible, the IWC often seeks volunteers for its extensive gift shop, visitor desk, and summer programs. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate in most programs, offering an excellent way to gain experience in conservation education and customer service.
