The Sierra Club is a historic national environmental organization, founded by John Muir in 1892, that advocates for the preservation of public lands, the transition to clean energy, and a stable climate for all people, including partnership with impacted communities to ensure environmental justice. It achieves its mission through grassroots activism, lobbying for legislation like the National Environmental Policy Act, organizing outdoor outings, publishing Sierra Magazine, and partnering with other groups

Friends of Animals (FoA) is a 1957-founded, international, non-profit animal advocacy organization dedicated to freeing animals from cruelty and institutionalized exploitation through various programs, including low-cost spay/neuter services, a wildlife sanctuary in Texas and Africa, and a Wildlife Law Program that advocates for animal rights in the legal system. FoA also works on habitat protection, wildlife protection, and promotes veganism and climate action. 

Mercy For Animals (MFA) is a global animal rights organization founded in 1999 with the mission to end animal suffering caused by food production and promote a plant-based food system. They use undercover investigations, corporate engagement, public education, legal advocacy, and public policy efforts to achieve their goals. Their work focuses on ending factory farming and promoting veganism through promoting plant-based food choices and advocating for stronger regulations on animal agriculture.
