The Save the Manatee Club focuses on research, advocacy, and educational outreach to help protect manatees worldwide. While structured, official roles like staffing festivals or office work require volunteers to be 18 years or older, younger advocates are strongly encouraged to lead local, action-based campaigns. Students of any age can participate in self-directed fieldwork, such as organizing local habitat cleanups, creating educational presentations for their schools, and writing letters to local and state officials to advocate for manatee protection.
