Our Animal Care Team (ACT) is designed to support the animals’ daily care at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Volunteers in this program provide care for shelter animals through a variety of cleaning tasks, such as dog kennel cleaning, laundry and dishes, and other cleaning tasks. Volunteers should be able to bend, scoop, lift and stand for extended periods of time.

You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer independently, and an adult must accompany volunteers between the ages of 7 and 14 as part of a Pets and Pals Team.
