Volunteers are the absolute heartbeat of Austin Pets Alive! (APA!), and we simply could not save lives without their dedication. The truth is, our critical, life-saving work is powered by their unwavering support, from fostering vulnerable pets and assisting with adoptions to cleaning kennels, organizing events, and providing specialized care. Every hour donated, every hand extended, directly translates to more animals saved. They aren't just helping; they are the essential force that makes our mission possible, a dedicated community ensuring that every pet gets a second chance. Ages 13-15 can volunteer with a guardian, and ages 16-17 can volunteer after a full onboarding. No other age restrictions applied.
