Meat consumption for single individual accounts for over 1100 gallons of water, 0.4 tonnes of CO2 , and a significant amount of land usage. Implementing a policy where plant based options are available and prevalent in every restaurant will help propose a solution to the issue of climate change by providing a choice for individuals to still eat animal products, but emphasizing the need and availability of greener products. The Greener By Default Project is not our original project, and instead we are advocating and supporting the project to be implemented in governmental policy. We rely on our partners and advocacy volunteers connected to agency or businesses and if you fall under those categories then apply to become a project partner below! We will sponsor you on our website and provide resources, and together we can make significant, tangible change.
